Position Summary
Director for the Workplace Strategy (WPS) Korea team is charged with all aspects of strategic planning, business development and management of WPS team and is a country leader who will be responsible for managing the business growth of this consulting team. This person is an excellent leader and great communicator who can drive business development, set and manage client expectations while leading the team to grow and learn.  This person is a strong collaborator who will contribute to developing integrated service for all of CBRE.  Some of the main duties include (but not limited to);
- Business development, securing projects for the team and having business acumen to select the appropriate clients&projects.
- Marketing – drive the market presence through thought leadership&building network
- Strategic Planning – set&lead business growth plan based on the market knowledge
- Plan consulting services customized to the client’s objectives
- Manage engagement with all relevant project stakeholders on client-side and within CBRE
- Advise clients on strategic direction - formulate concise findings, and clearly communicate in reports and in presentations
- Exhibit in-depth knowledge of workplace trends
- Management skills for leading the team to deliver projects on time and within the given fee
- Represent the team in client’s project steering committees when relevant
- Collaborate with other business lines within CBRE
- Will grow, and eventually manage and coach team of professional consultants
- Leverage knowledge within CBRE Korea, APAC and Global

Key Responsibilities
Business development and marketing
- Is responsible to meet the business’s financial targets
- Establish the expert position in the market by promoting WPS benefits to the clients
- Promote WPS & CBRE to the general public by showing expert knowledge/Proactively participate in PR-related activities such as client events, seminars, forum
- Write research and marketing materials – focus on workplace/Network and build relationships with associated partners, vendors, etc…
- Collaborate with other business lines to integrate our services offering/Develop new business opportunities and services by collaborating with CBRE colleagues
Project & team management
- Deliver proposals that meet the client’s needs and our financial targets/Manage financial forecasts against the business targets
- Identify resourcing needs on project and manage the team/Build the platform for the team to grow and succeed
Project delivery:
- Strategize and plan a set of consulting activities that are most effective for the clients/Formulate consulting services and present it to the clients
- Build a strong communicative relationship with the clients and with the team
- Plan and facilitate client workshops with executives (C-suite) and other level of organization/Conduct executive level client interviews (C-suite, head of departments)
- Leverage and share workplace knowledge with the team locally and globally

Required Knowledge & Skills
- 10+ years of Workplace and/or Consulting experience
- Logical thinker, empathetic, self-driven
- Experience leading project teams&transformation projects – workplace, business, process, organization
- Experienced workshop facilitator
- Business development skill – identify potential clients and “close the deal”
- Accurate and effective reporting skills/Financial acumen
- Bilingual in Korean & English (Strong communication and presentation skill both in Korean & English)
- Understanding of Korean real estate and workplace markets,

Education and Qualifications
- 10+ year experience in the Real Estate/ Workplace/ Construction/ Design/ Consulting Industry or workplace related field
- University graduate with relevant degree, in Architecture, Interior Design, Economics, Business Administration – Master preferred
- Background in business (MBA), change management, or design preferred
- Prior experience working for consultancy firms welcomed
