The Role  

The role of the Talent Acquisition Lead is to work with key Senior Business Leaders in developing a strategic approach to recruitment. He/She plays a pivotal role in improving the quality of talent acquisition practices and leverages direct sourcing to ensure CBRE recruit top talent in order to maintain a competitive edge. 
Key Responsibilities 

I. Recruitment delivery – contract and permanent hires 
  • Job needs analysis
  • Candidate attraction and sourcing
  • Assessment and selection
  • Job offer management
II. HR and recruitment operations  
  • Ensures full PeopleSoft compliance 
  • Supports the headcount approval process  
  • Assists the business with Job Descriptions  
  • Makes recommendations to improve recruitment process including reviewing policies and procedures  
  • Researches and maintains current recruitment, employment market knowledge and local labour law
III. Relationship and stakeholder management
  • Internal: Partners with Hiring Managers to understand the commercial needs of the business and the impact of recruiting talent in their service line  
  • External: Is the key contact point for all Recruitment Agency suppliers. Promotes suitable vendors, ensures their compliance and that the CBRE employer brand is represented correctly in the market. Maintains relationships with candidates in talent pools interested in working at CBRE.

Required Skills and Knowledge
  • Extensive experience as a Recruiter working either in-house or in an Agency (Real estate or property recruitment is highly regarded) 
  • Advanced communication skills  
  • Ability to build key relationships and manage senior stakeholders  
  • Demonstrable experience managing senior appointments 
  • Previous experience using creative and innovative sourcing techniques to identify talent in candidate short and challenging functions  
  • Demonstrates and delivers best practice recruitment expertise 
Key Performance Indicators
  • Offer/ hire conversion rates  
  • Reduces cost per hire and time to fill by implementing proactive direct sourcing initiatives  
  • Talent pools reflect skilled and relevant prospects  
  • Improved quality of hire (productivity and performance results of the new hire, reduced attrition, higher retention rates)
