The account is responsible for delivering a fully integrated operation across the primary service lines of Project Management, Transaction Management, Facilities Management, Critical Engineering, Portfolio Management, and Variable Consulting. These services are delivered across the International (EMEA, APAC & LATAM) portfolio including the Bank’s live trading environments and data centres.

The APAC Regional Finance Manager is a client-facing position, primarily responsible for leading a team of professionals overseeing the development and financial management of the client’s real estate operating budgets across 13 countries within the Asia Pacific (APAC) Region. In addition to managing the client’s financials, the role is responsible for managing the Account’s commercial performance and profitability (P&L) as a function of CBRE’s overall Corporate results.
What to expect for this role
Manage the relationship with the client to be a trusted advisor
Provide high quality financial advice to both the client and the CBRE senior management team for the client
Establishes overall departmental priorities and ensures that all deadlines are met.
Planning, forecasting and managing the client regional budget of, advising and liaising with client Finance counterparts on facility partner risks and opportunities
Modelling, reporting and preparation for the reimbursement of platform costs and management fees
Manages the annual CBRE corporate budget from facilitation of Data Collection to eventual review and analysis. This includes a monthly refresh of the forecast.
Monthly management of CBRE financial P&L and Balance Sheet statements; prepare monthly deferred revenue schedules, journal entry accruals, budget vs. actual variance analyses, and risk/opportunity tracking. Ensure all submissions are made on a timely basis
Participate in various system roll outs and ensure that finance deliverable are met
Ensure that billings and payments are disbursed on a timely basis.
Mentor and coach team members to further develop competencies. Supervises finance staff including training and managing job performance. Support various teams through periodic training and update on systems / platform processes.
Manages special projects and assists in preparation of presentations for management
Tracking of annual cost saves and targets with the support of the sourcing division. Leading and managing the recommendation of service line measures on reducing non-relevant business expenditures and other cost saving strategies. Seeking approvals of such identified saves from the client governance team for contribution towards the annual cost saves target
Tracking contractual KPI's / Incentives and reporting to Global Finance
Drive overall process improvements ensuring global consistency
To be considered for the role:
Degree educated – Accounting, Finance or related field
Professionally qualified accountant – CPA, CA. Minimum 8-10 years post qualified
Good communication skills and presentation of management reporting, including scenario analysis to internal and external clients and preparation of data in simple and easy to understand terms for senior management or clients
Working knowledge of JD Edwards / People Soft experience
Outstanding IT skills including ability to explore data-orientated structures (data modelling) and familiarity with data-management programming language such as VBA
Familiarity with banking systems, gathering, storing and organising data for use with Business Intelligence tools
