Role

 

The Business Operations Manager fulfills a key role in the Property Management business as follows:

  • Provide leadership and management on internal business operations of the Property Management business in the Philippines
  • Manage the Transition of Assets, ensuring establishment, handover, documentation, hiring and SOP establishment
  • Manage the Procurement process in collaboration with the team, ensure contracts are in place to standards and process followed professionally to standards and requirements
  • Development, education and implementation of standard operating procedures based on the Global Standards platform and upkeep of SOP’s and documentation on the web/sharepoint or other vehicles.
    • Supporting the Property Management Global Risk Programs, ensuring standards are in place
  • Collaboration with Shared Services in supporting the broader operations of Property Management (HR, IT, L&D, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Legal etc)
  • Executing an audit and process improvement program on an ongoing basis
  • Roll out and manage the implementation of systems and IT that add value to our teams and clients
  • Supporting training which underpins Global Standards and ensuring all teams follow the localized global standards, compliance and risk management
  • Drive the operating performance and standards of delivery of the onsite teams


Key Responsibilities

 

General:

  • Implement localized Global Standards and standard operating policies, procedures and templates
  • Collaborate with the Property Management team to improve processes for compliance, efficiency and high service levels to clients
  • Support Shared Services in managing corporate compliance and risk management within Property Management
  • Plan and conduct an internal audit program annually to verify compliance with standard operating procedures and implement quality improvement plans
  • Prepare and submit audit & operational reports to Head Property Management & SEA Director Business Operations
  • Facilitate client compliance needs including third party audits
  • Conduct investigations relating to operational and compliance issues raised by clients or Property Management personnel
  • Collaborate with and support Real Estate Accounting Services with regard to financial risk management and compliance
  • Support the APAC Business Operations team with compliance and risk management in Philippines
  • Support implementation of new IT systems to the business and clients
  • Oversee the performance of the onsite Management teams
  • Implement best practices to achieve consistent quality of service at all projects
  • Transition of new appointments into CBRE (and transition out) in a professional organized program
  • Business Continuity

 

Client and Stakeholders Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with all members of Property Management without compromising independence and integrity of business operations role
  • Develop effective working relationships with Shared Services in order to leverage resources and to support corporate initiatives in compliance, training and risk management
  • Support business leaders in demonstrating Property Management business operations capability in new business opportunities
  • Maintain effective relationships with external clients through delivery of aligned compliance, SOP, and risk management initiatives


Experience

  • Senior level PM delivery experience
  • A number of years’ experience in the property management industry
