Role Summary:
Being part of GWS APAC HR team, this role will manage the Learning and Development efforts across Greater China region (China, HK & Taiwan) and will be focused on execution of the overall GWS and local market L&D strategy for the region, while supporting other APAC regional initiatives where required. This position is responsible to drive and support the learning programs and initiatives across the GWS workforce including Facilities Managers, Technical/ Engineering employees, PjM and other Hard/Soft Service. The key responsibilities of this role include, but not limited to: implementing the technical curriculum framework and a catalog of talent, leadership and professional development programs plus employee engagement activities and initiatives. 
The role will consult with senior leaders in the region to strategize, identify and define current and future learning needs and partner with GWS SME’s and vendors to identify, develop, update and implement training solutions across GCR via an innovative, scalable and cost-effective platform of services to support the GWS’s business objectives and increasing workforce demands anticipated as the business continues to expand in region.   The individual will be a proven learning and development specialist, who possesses a good knowledge of Instructional design, and be able to develop content applying adult learning theories which would include a variety of learning methods.   They will need to have strong stakeholder management skills to develop partnerships with many businesses and functional areas, demonstrates a good understanding of the business and have good commercial acumen.  Strong facilitation and delivery skills is also required as is the ability to priories in a fast-paced diverse environment.  Teamwork and the ability to work well in a matrix’s environment is also required.

•Management and development of GCR L&D staff, providing direction and support.
•Responsible for managing the Greater China region training budget.  Providing accurate forecasting and tracking of actuals to keep on budget.
•Developing the required timelines and project plans to ensure local initiatives are implemented   accountable for ensuring L&D initiatives are implemented on time, scope and budget.
•Partner with Head of L&D GWS to develop Employee Engagement initiatives and subsequently manage and implement across APAC.
•Ability to travel regionally, approximately 20% time.

Qualifications and Education:
•A minimum of five years’ experience in training development and delivery.
•Project Management experience an advantage.
•Preferably experienced in designing, developing and implementing training curriculum programs.
•Preferably bilingual in English and Mandarin to interact with internal and external stakeholders in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
