JOB SUMMARY 
Oversees and is ultimately accountable for production and financial performance of assigned area. Aligns local area objectives with nationally determined strategy. Provides for ongoing development of business opportunities within assigned area. Acts independently to support the management of planning, organization and controls for separate activities. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • In consultation with Regional Director, delivers national strategy at the area level, ensuring implementation suits local environment. Establishes local objectives and goals aligned with overall business strategy. 
  • Manages work of multiple valuation teams. Works with management team to ensure valuations across the Area are completed within required timeframes, in accordance with required guidelines and procedures, and client instructions. 
  • Monitors production, expenses and overall financial performance. Directs management team in developing and managing plans for remedial action. 
  • Works with Valuation Managers and support staff to ensure that the valuer and support staff allocation tables in support systems are accurate and current. 
  • Provides secondary level oversight of work produced in the area to ensure the accuracy and quality of work, particularly for outbound reports. Co-signs valuations as required. 
  • Directs development and implementation of service levels, quality measures and other performance standards. Monitors communication, installation and compliance with defined measures. 
  • Leads management team in nurturing existing client relationships to cultivate repeat business and referrals. Monitors and manages contact frequency and outcomes. Maintains continuous awareness of client needs. Works with all members of team to identify business opportunity and generate new business. 
  • Achieves personal fee write as required, to maintain competence in valuation methodology. 
  • Leads and contributes to management meetings demonstrating a willingness to share ideas and information. Works with management team to ensure appropriate and effective schedule for team 
QUALIFICATION

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE 
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required with a minimum of 5 years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree and prior supervisory experience preferred. 

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired
action.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports. Maintains a thorough knowledge of the property industry and market across area of operation.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook. Advanced skills with sketching software and valuation/appraisal database and reporting software. High level of understanding of CBRE business capabilities and advantages
