JOB SUMMARY

Provides support in critical environment maintenance management programme with highest standards and best practises; mainly comprised of IT room, Trading Area, and other Critical Environments including satellite support offices within Asia Pacific

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To support APAC’s engineering services operations
  • To lead and manage the integration engineering project
  • To engage with the client to seek the earliest possible involvement of the engineering project integration team in the development of facility design
  • To monitor the installation and fit-out of new facilities to ensure compliance with the agreed design, the client’s engineering standards and engineering statutory requirements
  • To ensure that the engineering team is involved in all stages of commissioning, witnessing, snagging and handover of all new facilities, systems, and assets
  • To advise the client of any issues which may influence their decisions on the granting of practical completion
  • To ensure that warranties are validated and transferred to the ownership of operational teams
  • To ensure that training in the operation of new facilities, systems and assets is made available by project teams for operational teams, prior to practical completion
  • To ensure that all project documentation (O&M manuals etc.) are reviewed and where necessary, that the project is advised of required corrections; and then to ensure that operational teams are able to review these documents prior to acceptance
  • To agree the required levels of output of the project governance tool.
  • To provide input for the project governance tool with data covering building assets, systems, and system elements.
  • To identify with the head of engineering and the head of critical risk, any issues that require attention.
  • To proactively seek innovation in all areas of service provision, in pursuit of continuous improvements
  • To assist in the preparation of FCP project plans and budgeting for allocated service lines


KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong M&E engineering knowledge
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in data centre management or critical enrolment management
  • Degree in engineering or Diploma in engineering with strong M&E background
  • Likely to have managerial experience 
  • Strong client management skills
