Primary Role Objectives:
  • Drive internal and external comms activity for Hong Kong business with guidance from Associate Director, Marcomms, Greater Bay Area and Regional Head of Communications.   
  • Develop corporate and business-line communications (internal/external) strategy and deliverables calendar
  • Support the delivery of successful/influential communications services to business lines and externally 
  • Be recognised as a specialist in delivery of communications solutions and project management 
  • Effectively manage project budgets, drive vendor/agency funded activities with good negotiation and activation skills, manage supplier relationships
  • Influence culture and fee-earners so communications processes are accepted and adopted 
  • Champion quality, creative copy writing and high standard copy writing delivery for media, social media, digital, external and internal comms 
  • Track and analyse activities to quantify goals and objectives to illustrate value to fee earners in the business as best possible
  • Activate distribution of CBRE content across multiple digital channels, and illustrate sophisticated use of digital platforms to magnify content 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for all CBRE Hong Kong corporate communications, both internally and externally with direction from Director, Marcomms, Greater Bay Area 
  • Plan and implement internal communications processes and initiatives for Hong Kong
  • Drive and manage internal content generation for Hong Kong and maintain corporate website, working together with Asia Pacific Digital team
  • Plan and implement external, media relations and client communications processes and initiatives for Hong Kong 
  • Develop and implement sustainable and proactive media relations program for Hong Kong 
  • Develop and manage strong and productive relationships with key Hong Kong and regional media contacts
  • Develop content for social media channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter and Wechat 
  • Conduct media training for executives. 
  • Support and work together with communications colleague in the GBA on communications programmes
  • Track all communications initiatives, demonstrating link between activities and results
  • Assist with coordinating and writing Corporate award submissions
  • Ensure Head of Marketing & Communications is kept informed and involved (as necessary) with initiatives

Experience and Qualifications:
  • Fluent English and Chinese, reading, writing and speaking skills 
  • Education in a relevant field i.e. marketing, communication, public relations, economics or commerce 
  • 6 years+ experience in communications management in the Real Estate industry/ B2B service-related industry/ PR agency. Solid experience in the real estate industry will be a strong advantage.  
  • Presentation skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to edit existing copy, ability to write for multiple platforms, digital and traditional 
  • Strong media contacts would be an advantage
