Commercial Finance Senior Analyst

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The role holder will be a member of Finance team under client based in Bayan Lepas, Penang, providing P&L reporting and ensure margin is maximized on the account; provide sound financial analysis and support to the Finance Manager and Director; ensure company internal policies and procedures are adhered to; supporting both internal CBRE and client's financial reporting; supporting APAC countries. 

Financial Month end close, Reporting and Budgeting
Prepare and review month end JV
Prepare and review monthly variance analysis and outlook reporting
Reporting and drive improvement of revenue, margin, TWC and cost savings
Prepare data for Tableau Reporting
Work closely with FM to prepare annual budget
Work closely with SSC to resolve accounting and reporting issues
Maintain and update various cost trackers

PO and Invoice Management
Create requisitions in client’s system
Review and approve PO and billing
Follow up invoice receipting, payments and POs closure in client’s system

Technical knowledge: 
• Ability to demonstrate sound technical knowledge related to accounting and financial
• Good knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, vlook-ups, grouping)
• Analytical skills
• High level of accuracy/attention to detail
• Good time management skills and ability to work towards deadlines

Communication: 
• Must be good in both verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English

Problem solving: 
• Ability to confidently work through problems and find solutions 
• Pro-active approach and working towards efficient improvements

Collaboration: 
• Displays the ability to work in a team. Shares information and is prepared to assist colleagues when necessary in order to deliver a task or project 

Desire to learn: 
• Displays a willingness and enthusiasm to learn

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor degree in Accountancy/Finance or Professional Accounting/Finance qualification
• Financial experience in similar role of 3 years or qualified - audit experience will be added advantage
