May be responsible for one or more of the following:
Client Relations
Establish and develop relationship with local Client customers to understand their business strategy, to solicit feedback and recommendations, and to ensure that FM services and solutions meet or exceed local needs.
Review monthly management reports, review it with Senior Operation Manager (APJ)
People
Responsible for resource planning and competence development of site teams. Prepare and conduct staff performance reviews.
Create and implement staff planning and development programs to meet the on-going operational requirements of the facility. Ensure trained, capable personnel are provided as a continuous product of such programs at all levels of the facility for promotional progression.
Chengdu new campus facilities operation team establishment.
Financial Planning
Assist the Global/APJ Finance Manager and Senior Operation Manager (APJ) to prepare annual business/operating plan.  Seek advice from global and corporate engineers, with respect to the operational maintenance and repair program to ensure that competitive contracts and in-house maintenance standards are maintained, and funds are available to support this program.
Assist the global/APJ Finance Manager and Senior Operation Manager (APJ) to prepare a capital improvement programs to ensure that the facilities maintain full functionality, and introduce cost saving systems and materials to keep minimize operational expenses. 
Facility Program Management
Inspect the facilities on an on-going basis to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of all facility personnel.
Initiate and authorize expenditures, pricing strategies, appropriations, and commitments within the limitations of delegated authority and recommend appropriate action for those outside this level.
Implement and ensure that policies and procedures comply with published directives, local codes and laws.
Management of staffs and suppliers.
Management of budget, equipment and materials on behalf of customer.
Management of contract and subcontractors
Management of soft services including cleaning, catering, transportation, pest control, landscaping, postal, office supplies, laundry, archives, switchboard operation, internal plant, bottles water supply, waste disposal, phone book updating etc.
Management of technical systems operation and maintenance including electrical, HVAC, Building Management System, Fire Fighting, Plumbing and Drainage, Natural Gas, Elevator and Escalator, Decoration, Special Equipment etc
Management of facilities projects
Provide support to Management of Environmental, Health and Safety
